WHAT WE BELIEVE

Griffin church exists to know, love, follow, and share Jesus with our community and the world. We partner with the Great Commission Baptist Convention (SBC) and the Georgia Baptist Mission Board.

Our Core Values

We believe the Bible is the inspired, perfect, without error, and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and training in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16 All of our ministries at Griffin Church find their foundation and guidance in the Word of God.

We believe that everyone was created to make Jesus known in some way, regardless of circumstances, stage of life, and abilities. Though the practical ways we share may look different from person to person, the call is still for all believers to “Go”. Matthew 28:18-20

We believe that all good gifts we receive are from our Good Father and are to be stewarded for His purposes. The time, talents, and treasures that we have been given are to be leveraged and used for His Kingdom and His Glory. 1 Peter 4:10

We believe that no one can do this alone! We were created for relationships. These relationships, though we may share some interests, are centered around what Jesus has done for us. Our relationships with each other are meant to guide us in our relationship with God. Philippians 2: 1-4

We believe that disciples are made on purpose and directly. Though there are many resources available today to aid in the Christian Walk, we believe one of God’s greatest discipleship gifts is each other. We connect and grow together through intentional and strategic discipleship.
